Connect your MCP client

Add the Spradley MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Code or Codex and sign in with Spradley.

For every client below: after adding the server, click Connect, sign in to Spradley when asked, read what the app will and will not see, click Allow, and start asking.

Your company's owner has to turn the connector on first, in Spradley under Settings → Integrations. The same page shows the server URL with a copy button.

Claude

In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Spradley and paste the server URL:

https://app.spradley.io/api/mcp

Click Add, then Connect, sign in to Spradley and allow access.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Connectors → Create, paste the server URL and choose OAuth as the authentication:

https://app.spradley.io/api/mcp

Sign in to Spradley and allow access.

Other clients

Spradley only sends its sign-in back to claude.ai, chatgpt.com, Microsoft Teams and apps running on your own computer. An app that asks to return anywhere else is refused at the consent step, whatever name it gives itself.

Server URL

https://app.spradley.io/api/mcp

The server uses stateless Streamable HTTP: each request stands on its own, and there are no long-lived sessions to manage.

First-time authentication

  1. Discovery

Your client finds Spradley's sign-in details from the server URL on its own.

  2. Sign in

Your browser opens Spradley. If you are not signed in, you sign in first and come back.

  3. Consent

Spradley shows the app's name, where it will send you back, and what it can and cannot read.

  4. Allow

You click Allow. The connection is tied to you and to your company at that moment.

Permissions

Allowing access lets the app, acting as you:

  • List the completed reports you can see
  • Read their themes, the reasons under them and their published quotes
  • Compare a theme across departments of five people or more
  • Ask Spradley a question about them

It cannot change anything in Spradley. The app sees what your role sees, and no more. Something not working? See troubleshooting.
